Took delivery of my first Supra today, j-spec '94 N/A. Booked in for a cat back exhaust on Monday.

But....it has 4 American Arelli 18" Jovan chrome wheels on it! Way toooooo bling! I have narrowed my new wheel choice down to either KEI Racing D1 or D2's or TSW Thruxton. My query is, will the wheels fit straight on with no clearance problems, I have been told by one supplier that the Thruxtons would need to be made offset, but I only have the normal brakes etc.

Help and advice greatly appreciated, will get some pics up as soon as I've got the exhaust and wheels sorted.

18" wheels as I have a brand new set of 225/40/18 tyres.

Homer, is there a way I can tell which brakes are fitted as I have nothing to compare it with? and will both wheel types go straight on?

Pag, thought about having the cats removed, how much difference?

Thanks Guys.

Are you sure the wheels are going to be wide enough? As this tyre size, especially for the rear wheels, doesn't sound right to me.

For example, the wheels for my TT are an 18" x 8.5" (245/40/18) front, and a 18" x 10" (275/35/18) rear. I think you can get away with slightly narrower wheels on an N/A, but be careful what you buy, cos you may not have enough rubber on the ground for handling/power etc.

Just my penny's worth :)
