My Supra is neally done and should be home soon. I was speaking to Leon at JPS and all going well the Supra should be back by june 1st. Then a couple of thousand miles running in and then I will see what it can do.

Spec is pretty impressive with a full respray (Lambo Blue) built engine, PHR Stage 2+, Tein Coilovers, standalone ECU, uprated gearbox etc etc. Cant wait to get it and get driving again. Leon has done a great job and on talking to him he is hoping to be back on the forum shortly offering his skills and experience.

He told me his Supra just ran a official time of 9.7 at Pod with a terminal speed of 152mph. He seems confident all going well, he will be in the 8's very soon.

The work he has done on my car is very impressive, he will be a great addition to the forum. Anyway here are the pics of my car.

Thanks Gaz for the comments, yours, Leons and CRD seem to be leading the way forwards, hopefully one of you will make the 8's soon.

With this spec I now have, I should put it down the strip just to see what it could do. I am a bit paranoid about ending up in the wall especially now I have spent a small fortune.

Need to give it a go though, cant just quote figures (whatever it makes) I should give it a run if only once.

cheers

At the rate everyone is going auto, we'll have the only manual left! :D

You should get a good time even on a street setup. What box did you end up going for?

Robbie of the board runs consistant 10.6-10.9's with a T67 and Boostlogic box.

Gaz.

Not sure what the box is, bought it from Leon along with his hi stall torque converter, it was the one from his old car when it ran a 10.01. Should be more than enough for what I anm going to use it for.

Hell I would be happy with a low 12, anything lower than this wont be with me driving. purely a fast street car for me, drag strip once or twice just so I can say i have done it once.

The times you run with a manual just makes your times even more impressive - good luck this season
