Sheefa
So, in reality Autos should only be worth a little less in todays terms than a manual, not 2k Not taking into account stupid inflation etc.
Mike B
I guess there are a lot of people out there that we should say a big thank you to, for forking out 40k back in the old days so we can enjoy supra's today!
edge
So they were £40k ish back then so whats that equivalent to now?
jaymdee
Probably about the same, as the price of cars has generally dropped in real terms as materials and manufacturing processes become cheaper
Chiefgroover
Mid 90's Toyota really took the piss on price.

Chiefgroover
The 98 RSP I had, was bought new by the previous owner from Park Lane. He paid £28.5K for an RZ tip with metallic paint, Uk spec brakes, leather etc.
Paul
Are there any UK owners on here who bought their cars new??? I'm the second owner but my mate bought mine new back in Sept '95, never forget when he came round to rub my nose in it:( I had a new MR2 at the time and the brand new Supra sitting on the drive made it look shite in comparison. One of the first trips in it for me was to his local airfield to go up in his plane, great afternoon that was:) Can't remember how much he paid, he always struck a good deal, £39K / £40K rings a bell though, I'll have to ask him. Dont you just hate people like that lol, spend all your hard earnt cash on something new then he pulls up next to it and makes it look a wast of money, then rubs it in more by giving you ride in his jet.......good luck to fella though, Im just jealous.......
