Clarkey
I've been looking at my old car's BL T61 dyno chart @ 1.1 bar. http://www.yourfilehost.com/media.php?cat=image&file=19112006_006_.jpg When looking at dyno plots, what is the significance (if any) of when the BHP & Torque curves cross ? Guest supraimpose
On a Power (HP) vs Torque (lbft) graph, the lines will always cross at 5252rpm. You can see this from the equation used to calculate Horsepower: HP = Torque*RPM/5252 So when RPM = 5252, HP = Torque i.e. the lines cross.
