I brought one of your kits off of member on here it is new and unused , not sure which kit it is but the turbo has a purple side to it if that helps? what i need to no is where do you run the water pipes for it to? if you have some pics that would be great.
also i seam to be missing some bits so please could you give me a price on the following
1) oil feed line + fittings for the block and the turbo
2) as above the water lines
3) the intercooler pipe (I have a hybrid intercooler)
many thanks matt

Matt,
How is everything? Its hard to say from the picture of what size your turbo is, in this case it doesnt matter. Looks to me like a Stage 2 or 2+ DBB Turbo Kit. We have the Water Cooling Kit, Oil Feed Kit and Oil Drain Kit in stock to supply everything that the turbo would need to run properly. Please let me know if there is anything else that I may have forgotten. I will get you feedback on the IC Pipe as soon as I can.
Cheers,
Joe
Email over a picture of the compressor side of the turbo we might be able to figure out what size the turbo is from looking.
Thanks

Hi guys hope theres pic's help :)
Hi guys hope theres pic's help :)
Looks like a PHR Stage 1 60mm DBB turbo to me. Could also be a Stage 2 as its only 2mm larger, but I dont think so looking at the wheel design. Definitely not a 2+ 67mm.
Thanks,
JH

The DBB should'nt make any more noise than the standard bearing turbo. Make sure that the wheel on the turbo is spinning freely and that its getting the proper oil that it needs to maintain function.
Let me know what you find out!

Joe

Hi Joe yes it spins freely just a bit noise ! the oil inlet in the turbo is tiny tho ! it's about the size of a pin head 1mm. Is this right?

The noise is from the DBB cartridge. The bearings dont have any oil right now, so it will be noisy just like when you shut down the engine and oil pressure goes away.
The oil inlet into the housing is small, about .040" because we have to restrict the amount of oil going into the center bearing housing. Those DBB turbos have a tendency to wash excess oil around the rear thrust and into the exhaust.

Matt if that is Martin 'Doh' James old one, its a stage 2 :)
