Laserline 291 Odd Beeping

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows a bit about the Laserline 291 family of alarms..

Since the garage had it in today for the MOT its now beeping and flashing for about 20 seconds after the doors etc have remotely locked.

It used to just beep and lock but now beeps, locks then does this spaced beeping and then just stops.

Any ideas please?

it means a sensor/switch isn't working/connected & the alarm is not giving a total closure.

Check the sensors and check the bonnet switch connection under the bonnet

I had a problem with the ultrasonics on my laserline 996.
If they are the same i have a new set in the garage you can have.
Try diconnecting the ultrasonics if you can. or i think you can set the alarm and then press the top button to disarm the ultrasonics.

Could just be your boot not closed fully or something as well. I would assume you haven't been driving around with the boot open though!
