VIL Posted May 3, 2007 Share Posted May 3, 2007 Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to tint the front orange indicators to tone down the orange or even turn them black? I cant be a****d to change them over to clear ones yet even though I appreciate this would be a better job. garetheves Posted May 3, 2007 Share Posted May 3, 2007 Ive done mine. Its really easy. Buy a tint spray and apply in this coats, any more and they will bubble. garetheves Posted May 3, 2007 Share Posted May 3, 2007 As far as i know as long as the bulb still flashes orange (which it does) then its a pass on the MOT. I got the spray from a local paint shop near me, cost about £6 and he just took some ordinary black paint and mixed it with thinner. Some car accessory places stock it as well though.
