Just cant beat the japs for wild and whacky ideas.

This past weekend was the annual Baby-cry Sumo which took place at Sensoji Temple in Tokyo.

Sumo wrestlers hold babies and whichever baby cries the loudest wins.

The contest is thought to bring good health to the babies!!

Damn the Japanese have some crazy contests :)

Can't see the benefits myself. Especially if they put the babies through rigorous training before hand and just make them cry everyday in preperation :(
