Stag do ideas?

Me and a mate are trying to think of a stag do for our man who's walking the isle shaped plank in August.

We can't spend too much and we'd rather avoid trips away (cos I know you'll all suggest Amsterdam and Prague! :rolleyes: ).

So far the only suggestion has been a camping weekend of some kind, but making it different and interesting is tricky.
Most of the guys going (not sure how many yet) went to my brother's stag weekend that was karting, paintballing, quad riding and dirt buggy driving, quite cool but could do with something different now.

I was thinking about hiring a car and doing a road trip somewhere. But where? And obviously only 4 or 5 of us could do it then (unless we get a convoy going!).

Any other ideas?

Why don't you hire a people carrier and head up to Wigan. Have a night on the town, a pie and a fight. You will probably finish off with a murder that will also be a mystery and a spit roast is a fore gone conclusion with a Wigan lass!!:d

Did it years ago, and it took two full days to do it, all in order.
A couple of minor cheats on the utilities and missed a night in Jail, just.

Had you thought of Dublin at all?

Hire one or two cars or minibus or person carrier, cheap ferry over, have some of the craic and come back :)

Clay Pidgeon shooting. My mate got hitched last summer and we spent the morning loosing a few rounds with the 12 gauge. Lucky for us we knew a farmer with suitable land who gave us a couple of his gamekeepers to sort the traps out and supervise etc. If you can sort it out somehow, it's great fun and very competitive.

After that we went outdoor go karting, and then spent the night camped out in the depths of one of Norfolks finest forrests. Set up a misic tent and had BBQ etc.

I'm thinking maybe hire some cars and convoy up to the Ireland ferry, camp overnight with a few beers etc., then do something on the saturday (paintballing, go-karts, clay pidgeon, tank driving sounds fun! What do they have in NI?) then either stay there on the black shit or come back over for the second night. Guess I'll be driving back in the morning then!! :D

Well if you want to stay local a mate of mine is involved in an off road eventing place near Rownhams. It won't be as extreme in August as it is in February as the water only comes up as far as the bottom of the windows and not over the roof but the site is fully accessible at that time of year with some awesome climbs and drops. He can arrange a couple of different vehicles and sort out some heavy winching etc etc. It won't break the bank I can all but guarantee you'll have a damn good day.

Lets put it this way in a fortnight its exactly what I am doing. I'm gonna get my range rover proper stuck :)

we're off to Wales in August for my mate's do. Canadian canoes down the river getting pissed at pubs on the way, camping over night somewhere then back in the boats. We're thinking of putting him in an inflatable duck thing that kinds use and tow him behind us :d

I got married last year, went upto spearmint rhino on tottenham court road, Hired a Stretched H2 Hummer. Had a 2 course meal in Spearmint, got a bottle of Absolute Vodka and a jug of mixer, plus a £20 dance chip. That was around £90 quid, then the hire of the Stretched Hummer
