Hi Guys,

Does anyone have any suggestions of new technology in engines that I could research for a paper I'm writing for uni? The module title is "Emerging Technologies" and I've chosen to write about new technologies in car engines.

I need 3 different specific technologies to write about - I've already decided I need to include something on Hybrid engines or alternate fuel powered engines, but I don't know what else is out there?

Does anyone know of a new forced induction system, or variable valve timing or something like that? It can be anything as long as its new and related to car engines!

Any help much appreciated! :D

Cheers, Chris

MDI air engine looks interesting and the Fischer liquid engine looks hot to trot.
MDI are releasing loads more detail now they're getting near production.
0300 for a post like this is inspiring by the way..Good luck at uni..:)

Cheers Andy the MDI air engine was a great suggestion! :D I've briefly looked into it and there seems to be loads of information on how it works and the development of it, so should be perfect for me to write about.

I always work best at night, for some reason I can't really concentrate on what I'm doing unless its dark!

Anyone know of anything else in development? :)
