Dodgy Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres

I was sent the following this morning by someone at work. Could be rubbish but might be worth checking anyway.

If you have Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres fitted to your car go and check them! They should be stamped "Made in Germany" on the sidewall. If they are stamped "Made in Thailand" it's possible they should not be fitted to cars in the UK.

There have been some imports of non "E" marked Eagle F1's into the UK. These tyres are designed for the Asian market and have a completely different compound to the European version of the tyres. They are not legal for UK road use.
