Battery terminal dilema

Took them off to clean and the positive broke

I need another asap. Been down to halfords and local garages and they have nothing that will fit (j-spec).

I read that you can change the battery etc buts its still no good as i cant get a terminal thats any good. All the others i could find are crap and require you to cut the wire.

Any ideas

I bought some normal size ones from Maplins to replace the small ones, they bolted on. I think I had to bend the positive terminal over .

I car salvage yard would give you the best choice really.

you can just crimp the clamps onto the wire,i changed my negative one the other day with my earthing kit,

think i still have it

Ive sent jezzybabes a pm as i think is probably best as i realy dont want to cut no wires until i have a new uk battery and some decent top quality connectors.

i had to cut my wire on the negative and fed into my gold clamp and all was fine

did mine recently too but I changed to a round terminal uk style battery at the same time, so changed the connecters as well. Batteries aren't that pricey, worth doing the whole job at once and then it's done for good? those j-spec connectors are grim, was glad to see the back of them
