Jake
How would you calibrate one, there's no digits on the dial. I would think it'd be too small to focus on while it would matter anyway
ivan
They just give a relative + or - boost indication and IMO are totally useless. Just invest in an after market 60mm one and fit it instead of the centre vent Ewen. Assistance available if needed.

I would think it'd be too small to focus on while it would matter anyway Just wondered if the reading they gave was at least consistant, in which case the markings could be quantified by comparing with figures from another gauge. Idle minds and all that.

Thanks for the offer of help:)

Idle minds and all that. It is consistent with my Blitz MD between about -0.3 bar and +0.3 bar. Anywhere out that range it seems to be either at the bottom or all the way at the top. It's only electrics, I'm sure you could scale the signal down and mess about, but like Jake says, it's too small really to read anyway. Nic
Ewen, is there enough room to fit an aftermarket boost gauge in it's place? May be a chance I could get one of these 45mm diameter gauges which may fit. http://www.omorimeter.com/45mm_electrical_std_turbo_bz.jpg
ivan
The trouble is that the electrics for the stock one are all built-in to the dash behind the gauge face plate Nic. I thought about doing just that but thought again once I took a look. I think someone here had a go though.
