Guest Nicholas
With all the talk of people doing aero top single turbo builds is anyone not concerned about the possibility of a twisting chassis upon fast cornering. Now I may be completely wrong here but say for example you enter a bend rather quickly and power out if you loose the back end and the chassis twists surely that would be a recipe for disaster. Just wondered... discuss...
Pete
Personally I think it's an insane idea....mind you, most Supra owners consider motor sport to be a few seconds up a straight piece of tarmac anyway, so corners aren't so much of an issue. You can probably get some of that rigidity back through a decent roll cage welded in.
Ark
The yanks all seem to run big turbos and claim a gajillion BHP, and 95% of their cars are aeros...Mind you, there's only three corners on the entire USA road network.
fishman
few things on here that will help, specially the do-luck Floor Support Bars, and Do-Luck Rear Cross Bar..... http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/doluck_floor_brace/index.html http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templates/frmTemplateM7.asp?SubFolderID=209&SearchYN=N

Kopite
Personally, I'm not keen on aeros anyway, would prefer the car being as stiff as it could be and taking the roof off would mess up my hair
Alex
I'm not convinced those Do-Luck floor bars could really help...you need a full roll cage to really stiffen it up.
Gruggs
Yup need a full on roll cage and welded in preferably. The do-luck efforts dont connect the front and rear of the car so dont really do much afaik. G
