I am now in a position that if the car is running the gauge registers nothing but if i turn the engine off and then turn the key so the ignition lights are on the gauge seems to work fine. Without the engine running i am passing 12.3ish volts down the cable but running this goes to 14.7ish. I am finding it hard to believe a gauge could be so sensitive but if anyone is going to have this trouble its me. Anyone come across this before and if so how did they get around it?
