Anyway, looks like the previous owner of Gennas car didn't check his new wheels would fit over UK brakes before he got them and so has had to use wheel spacers to get them to fit. As a result of the studs being too short he has done the nuts up stupidly tight. Not too tight that I couldn't undo them mind but tight enough that the thread of one of the studs came off with the nut, so I couldn't get the bugger back on again. So, where can I get larger studs from and is there any particular size/code I need to know before ordering. No the search button isn't broken. Yes it does reveal some results about spacers being shite and should be avoided, but unless someone wants to give me some new wheels they will have to do for now.
