I knew this might happen but after the pod and my poor times (13.7) at 1.1 bar i have ordered more power from Turbofit !!:D

This will be fitted mid May and will include

  • 4 Row Intercooler to replace HKS Type R
  • Fluidyne Rad
  • Fluidyne Polished fans
  • 3.5 Bar Map Sensor
  • HKS Sliding Cam gears
  • Oh yes and a 10lb bottle of NOS kit and 1.4bar re map from Dan

Cheers Gaz at Envy for the great prices

What does the 3.5 Bar Map Sensor do?

Is this to stop the max signal that the standard ECU can receive to determine what mix of fuel use past 1bar for UK spec? Or is it purely an aftermarket ECU device?

Would the stock ECU even have a map if it had the MAP signal within range?

Lastly...Is it available for VVTi? :D

:D

It's a slippery slope... :)

I fell down this slope a long time ago !! :D

The 3.5 bar map sensor will allow the car to be taken to 1.4bar the original is only a 1.2 bar sensor :search:

The car was dyno'd last week to set up the AEM and reached just over 450bhp on 1.1 bar so should be good for over 500 with the new bits :D

Will have the standard rad, fan and HKS Type R intercooler for sale from 15th May ;)
