bolarbag
I had an EVC 3 and really liked it, simple and quick to control...now have an EVC 6...the display looks like a small mobile phone, real smart and only 250squid so cant complain! Its not installed though yet as my car is off road due to single plans!

The control box I mounted under the stereo by modifying the panel. Nick
I've got one in the GTR. Nice small smart looking unit. No idea how you set it up, but I can flick between low and high boost with a twist of the knob. It's supposed to have more accurate boost control than the previous models. I mounted mine in the centre console out the way, don't like stuff on the dash. http://www.hks-power.co.jp/ http://www.jdm-option.com/pr_HKS/EVCimp/index.php http://www.jdm-option.com/pr_HKS/index.php
Nic
nic how did you keep the controll box in place and when you use it, it does not slide back into the panel It was permanently fixed in the panel with double sided foam pads at the back (there is a plastic wall on the inside of the panel around the buttoms that it was fixed to). The buttons pop out when pressed and can be adjusted. I prefer the newer EVC VI as the whole lot is built into the screen, so no extra control unit to try to fit on the dash. I have the same model now in my car, works well and I find the screen very clear http://www.hksusa.com/products/more.asp?id=3208 Nick I have the English instructions here if it helps http://homepage.mac.com/importpimp/
