I was just thinking to myself - "what we need is another thread about the Supra Pod event, there simply aren't enough already"

"is it possible" might not be the best subject line to get help either - "Need lift to Supra Pod from Leicester" could have been slightly more useful.

Are you offering to pay petrol?

where abouts in leicester do you live?

will you be annoying on the way?

do you have a fit sister or mum?

Are you offering to pay petrol?

He's 18, doubt it.

will you be annoying on the way?

Yes, see above.

do you have a fit sister or mum?

No way to tell - He makes no mention of parents, siblings or gym membership

And, as he's not a paid up member, that should sort of help with your answer.

This event is for paid up members and their guests.

Is that being a tad pedantic?:p

why does every 1 pick on the lad whos not got a supra, whos young and not yet a paid member?

Class One

I'm not picking on you. I'm explaining that the event is for paid up members and their guests that's all.

it's not so much the non supra owner thing, just not yet paid up member :)

the fact you're young is just slightly worrying for some as they don't want Kevin the teenager whinging in their lughole all the way to the 'pod :d

mas you there this saturday?

mental-modder
19-04-07, 15:42
you know whats really funny is the fact that most of you who take the pi55, are the ones that are about 40 and nothing better to do than people on here who are going to live longer. and i may be young but i helped to modify the car that came 3rd at donny show

Mas

Yes Maz, look forward to see you bro

Ahh the impetuous youth of today. How to win friends and influence people.
Carry on like that and you may not even get a chance to join. Get my drift?;)

We're just kidding

Any examples of your photos then out of interest?

At this rate you might not live as long as you think you will :innocent:

Nobody really cares if you washed the car that came 3rd at some Chav show, nobody really cares how old you are... the point you are missing is that the event in question is for *paid* members, you aren't one and your free posts are about to run out.

And so far all you've done is give the impression that you are a bit of a knob (yes I know, pot, kettle, black!) but I don't judge people based on a website, you could be adorable in the real world

mental-modder
19-04-07, 15:53
well it seems you've all judged me

michael
19-04-07, 15:57
well it seems you've all judged me

Based on what you've presented to us :)

Opinions can always change and the feedback you've had is only from a minority of outspoken people, the majority might love you but have ignored this thread due to the rubbish topic you used ;)

dibbleyuk
19-04-07, 15:57
People say its for paid members but my gf is comming with me and she isnt a paid member she is my guest so what stopping him comming as someone else guest!?

he isnt running a supra or even showing a supra just wants to come along to the event nothing wrong with that i say the more supra lovers the better!

mk47
19-04-07, 15:58
we are good people.

michael
19-04-07, 15:59

The fact that nobody wants to bring him? :innocent:

But a valid point all the same.

mental-modder
19-04-07, 16:00
im not saying your not, only 2 people in this room know me, they have there own opinions, but why should i listen to people i dont know, who judge people because they have a supra and i dont. so give me a break, i want to get to know alot about supras, how did you first start off eh?

RobSheffield
19-04-07, 16:03
how did you first start off eh?

He probably didnt ask for a lift to a car show ;)

Or call 118118 for taxis ;)

how did you first start off eh?

First of all I pressed the shift key... I jest, don't take things to heart young Supra fan, we are a jovial lot really.

But the title of the thread still sucks, you'd have more chance of a lift if you post up in the big discussion thread.

19-04-07, 16:20
A better introduction would of gone a long way. But i remember when I was young and joined and the masses took me in and now they wouldnt live without me here :D

If you want the thread title changed just PM and i'll do it as you seem just very enthusistic and a bit excited to be on here. I actually get the feeling your not as bad as you have come across.

Chill it out a little do some searches, read the funnies and the info and before you know it you'll be in the hunt for finding a supra and you may pick up a bargain.

Class One
19-04-07, 16:22
Still going to cost him a membership fee plus entry or be the guest of a paid up member plus entry fee to get in. ;) :p

michael
19-04-07, 16:22
....and now they wouldnt live without me here :D

An interesting point and something I'd like to test, could you disappear for a few months so we can check?

And hasn't chappy run out of posts now?

It's a difficult business, I still haven't located anything half as good as the ones from my favourite supplier in Skipton :(

Thats because you don't live near to THE home of the pork pie, Melton Mowbray :p Dickinson & Morris, the Olde Pork Pie Shop, in Melton - also stocked by Waitrose and Sainsbury's.

Not greasy, chunks of pork, melt in the mouth pastry :yummy: with some crusty bread and irish butter, a dolop of Branston....

...now I'm hungry :(

michael
19-04-07, 21:48
I've never really been a fan of the Melton Mowbray, perhaps I need to have a good one...
