Supra Pod - Fuel

I was considering buying some BP 102 ron fuel for Supra Pod on Saturday.

There's a BP garage in MK that sells it, so I was thinking of buying 10 litres or so and using/mixing it in with the V power that'll be in my tank on Saturday.

Good idea or waste of cash?

I am interested in this also, I have race fuel mapped into the AEM on a switch and never used it, does it make much difference ?

How much is the per litre?

IIRC about £2.50/litre

You can either put into two plastic cans (5 litres each) or two metal jerry cans (10 litres each) or into your car if you have VERY deep pockets.

think itll be a waste of £ for a bpu to be honest.

I use the millers turbo stuff (as it's staved off det for me on hot days)

I wouldn't say waster of money - anything that will reduce your chances of det when gunning it has gotta be a good idea.

Am i right in saying that this would only be of use to cars with reset stock ECUs and standalones that are mapped for it.

If you are running an EM or AEM which has only been mapped on standard fuel then there is no point?

Will it reduce the life or kill any WB02 sensor ?

Depends if its leaded.

Technically, yes - however running this fuel on a car not mapped for it would still prevent det, which is rather important!

It wouldn't give you that much of a power advantage however, unless you can advance the ignition to make use of it. You could run a touch more boost though

Depends if its leaded.

C16 is leaded. Running it for one occasion will make little difference to sensors. We've only replaced our AEM WB02 sensor once in the 2.5 years we've been running this for racing!

I looked at few of the pumps at the BP Garage near Pod and I couldn't see any 102 pumps a month ago. Which MK BP has the 102 fuel?

BP on the way into Newport Pagnell sells it I think, pretty sure they sold it there.

Might be dropping off the convoy to visit Turbofit on the way, so might have to go past the Newport BP
