Do not budget on mechanical parts... If you want to save money, save them on interior by doing DIY, but not engine, transmission or brakes... Try to avoid it slipping when driving as a slipping clutch will generate a lot of heat which could damage your flywheel. If you can't drive it without it slipping, don't drive it at all. broomie Posted April 16, 2007 Author Share Posted April 16, 2007 it tends to only slip above 3500-4000rpm im gonna try not to use it this week but i think im gonna risk taking it to the pod on sat i only live 35 miles away! so its a 70mile round trip! fingers crossed for me! patrikbrunt Posted April 17, 2007 Share Posted April 17, 2007 im in the same situation clutch slips in high gears at low revs... also been looking at that clutch on ebay. the suggestion was to go with genuine toyota parts... but where do you get a toyota clutch kit ? and how much more is that?
