ads274
I can't seem to get hold of knightrider, i would like him to explain the solution to his clicking problem that he had as i believe its what i'm experiencing. Anyway this is what he said: Eventually i cured it..... The driveshaft nut had worked ever-so slightly loose causing slight movement on the splines,So if you have this symptom and your castle nut and split pin in the centre of your rear wheel is rusty this is probably the fault It doesn't sound that complicated but i really don't know what i'm looking for. I would like to avoid taking it to a garage if i could do it myself. I would be very grateful if someone could it explain it in a 'noobs guide' kind of way Thanks in advance. absz
take your front wheels of and its the BIG nut in the middle were the wheel studs come out off. but cannot see them coming loose as there is a split pin through the shaft and castle nut. ads274
Thanks for the reply. I'm not being lazy but it saves me explaining by pasting the original thread. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=106677
