Go into Control Panel:
Then System, Advanced Tab - Performance Settings.
Advanced Tab > Virtual Memory - Change.
Put it on custom and change initial to 2046 and maximum 4092.

Then reboot and cross your fingers.

good tip is to move it to a seperate physical harddisk if you have one.

Virtual RAM. When it runs out of the real stuff.

Actually, some apps will check your pagefile size, regardless of how much physical RAM you have ;)

All applications will use pagefile.. memory allocations managed by the windows kernal memory manager ;)

That error window that he got is the generic one you get when the page file capacity is reached.

If he had more ram, it would not have happened.

No it's not; the generic windows one mentions nothing about games ;)
