Guest joyrider
Looking to get a new set of tyres but I want to get a set that have good handling in the wet. I don't want a compound thats too soft as I use the car daily and would like to get some good miles out of them. I had Falkens before and they were excellent in the dry but crap in the wet. They were a soft compound too so they never really lasted that long either...specially the rears. On 18's Ideas and Prices....Anyone? Wez
They are a good all round tire but not the only option, have a search on here and then decide.
Guest joyrider
Some others rate the Potenzas RE050 as being really good too but not sure on the tyre wear on those!!!
chilli
RE050A seem to be one of the best tyres on the market, but they are more of a dry tyre, won;t be as special in the wet I think, but similar to the Goodyear GS-D3s from what the reviews seem to indicate
