It seems more like a competitor to WorldPay, not PayPal. There's no "internet money" involved, e.g. you can't just sell something and keep the money in your Google Checkout account, and then spend that money later on, can you?

It's (to quote) "a wrapper for regular credit and debit card transactions"

If you're a serious business you're still much better off doing via your own banks systems or using someone like ProtX.
