am looking to buy a new rad but mr toyota wants £296 plus vat for a standard rad so i ve phoned around and had a look around and saw these two aluminium rads on ebay its the best deal i ve come across, haste is £250 and the koyo is £295 what one is best out of these two rads, what one do you think i should put on my twinturbo japspec auto, i was told there are striaght replacements for my standard rad and no mods needed, your suggestions would be a big help thanks are manual and auto the same

As Jake said mate. I run a Koyo which is brilliant, but you'll need a transmission cooler too.

Stock rads are excellent and only break after heavy mileage normally. Cooling wise, they're perfect for BPU up to small/med singles I'd say.

Personally, I like a bit of bling too and the Koyo has a thicker core. Just get a tranny cooler for your autobox and mount that in the side pod of the bumper or on the back of your FMIC - if you have one ;)

Koyo is proven but tbh I'd take a chance on the Haste rad as it looks like a decent quality item going by the listing.

As mentioned, you'll need a Fluidyne ATF cooler to go with it and run your auto trans fluid lines to this in one of the front bumper side vents. They sell for around $50 from the states.

Cheers,

Brian.
