Help! Wife Loves The Car...

I have had the Supra for two months now and Vicki hadn't shown any real interest in driving it as she is 33 weeks pregnant and thought she would struggle to see over the bonnet as she is a short arse too!

I had to go into Wigan last night and took the Supe. I drove there but Vicki decided to drive back. I was absolutely bricking it as her history of crashing into stationary objects is quite legendary...:(

She got home with this big grin on her face and has now started making noises about taking it to work in the summer!!

She also wants to join the forum, so my question is this.....

Should I let her drive the car and join the board or should I make out that the car has broken down and let the subject die a death??

Also if she is joining the forum, can you have two user names from the same IP address? We have 2 laptops and 1 Router.

If she joins the forum, the problem of her driving the car will disappear. If she sees some of your posts so far, she'll leave you. ;)

You could use the fact that you have it insured as limited mileage as an argument to stop her driving it too much. After the weekend, my g/f had visions of using my 911 a lot more - but I told her that I didn't use it for work and neither was she. I still think we may have some disagreements when we go out together in it though. And I did get very upset at the "I can take it out for a blast Sunday mornings" idea!

Tell her its gonna be too much to add her to the insurance, .

She's already on the insurance! She drove it yesterday..;)

Good point! I think if she's the number of posts, she will leave me anyway as it's blatantly apparent that I have been doing little else for 6 months...

I can get around the using it for work malarkey as it is only insured for SDP and limited to 5k miles.

No problem on having 2 accounts from same router, same IP address etc...

Cheers WSB2!

i say let her drive it and join in the fun mate. She crashes it, she fixes it :)

But that won't be the case. She'll pay for half the costs but I will be the one looking at the car and knowing where the damage was. Plus, this thread will play heavily on my mind too!

Wish my missus loved the car, she hates it with a passion. Just make sure you warn her of Ed and other sex pests before she joins :D

I am not sure if she'll enjoy the attention!! She's always complaining she doesn't get enough from me... Attention that is...:D

Put your foot down Paul!

"No you can't drive the Supra get your own." Then run.

You haven't met my wife have you Adam!! It wouldn't matter how fast or how far I ran, she'd find me.....
