What a great weekend, cant believe how well the Time Attack car did finishing 8th overall. The car had 1 hours worth of track time previous to the event so was pretty much fresh out of the box.
Looking at all the other competitors ahead of us our whole car cost about the same as there engines alone! We were running a completely standard engine which held together nicely considering we were having major problems with water temps all day, we could only do 1 hot lap followed by a cool down lap so Darren couldn't get into a proper rhythm either. This will all be sorted for the next round of events with ALOT more power as well, we'll have a fully ported engine going in very soon.

The drift car didn't fare quite as well unfortunately, no testing at all so we were using the event as a test session. Had a few handling issues, tried everything possible to help the problem but couldn't get it to do what we wanted. Looked and sounded amazing coming on to the main straight though!
I'll post a few pics up as soon as I get time.
Also we had a media company following our team the whole weekend so will have DVD's available pretty soon as well. I'll let you all know about that as and when.

Thanks
Paul

I am well pleased, just need some sponsorship money to pay for it all! GTR is in bits again! Turbos were taken off today, going single instead. Still waiting on my poxy crankshaft, its really starting to get on my tits now!

Nice one Paul, Have you had a problem with your supra engine or is it another car you are talking about?

Its my car yes, I've had an issue with it for a couple of years and managed to keep it at bay. It reared its ugly head towards the end of last year though when I started pushing it a bit,(2.2 bar and race fuel) I've been waiting for my new internals to arrive ever since, its going to be a monster though when I finally get it all though! Changing the spec around quite a bit....

Wow, cant imagine what 2.2bar would be like:D good luck with it.

Sounds good mate, 9500rpm should do it I think. I'll send my manifolds up to you as soon as I've got the engine out, should be in the next couple of weeks with any luck.

2.5 bar rocks, as long as you uprate nearly every damn part on the engine, it'll take it ;) :D

Gaz.
