Tourniquet
Hello all, simple one for ya's. Got J-spec TT with a few BPU and want to de-cat it next. Was after 2 seperate for MOT reasons rather than the full big one and my question is this. After a bit of hunting found the Whiffbitz pipes sound fine and around one of the cheapest. Is there any benefit in getting Blitz of Apexi de-cats or are Whiff's just as good and do the job. After all why pay more if no need ??? Reason I ask is I bought one of those dirt cheap HKS replica dump valves and it's the business and cost naff all. Also is a restrictor ring needed for what I have had done or not ? Thanx in advance...

Nic
If they are stainless steel then there should be not difference. Yes you will need a restrictor ring, Paul should be able to supply one of these also. Note; you will also need an FCD (Fuel Cut Defender), new cooler grade plugs and a boost gauge to monitor boost levels.
