gearbox whine

it might be me but just had a 6 speed conversion and the gearbox whine is quite loud is this normal

Mine has started whining recently in low gears, gonna get the fluids checked.

Mine has a slight whine in 2nd and makes a slight woo woo woo noise in 1st when crawling but other than that no whines.
Some numpty had put normal ATF in mine tho, V160 oil has helped loads.

:D and thats exactly what i am going to say just a little worried as seems to be louder since picking it up, i don,t want to fook it as there like rockin horse shit

anyone know how i check the gearbox oil is it easy or do i need a ramp

Had mine on 4 axle stands to get access then just a case of removing the filler hole half way up the passenger side of the box and check the fluid is level with the hole.:)
