First clean of the year.

Well the first proper one anyway:d

 

1st gave her a good mop with 3m finesse, Then clay bar all over, Then a good first polish and finally a good wax. gonna finish the rest off tomorrow but here are some pics anyway.

 

Also you might notice the stock bumper back on and the front of my car all repaired!!! AT LAST I pulled my finger out and did it:p :D

Hmm very nice indeed, have to say those wheels really do suit the supra as well.

 

Must get me one of these clay bars, where's the best place to get them from?

 

Any good motor factor. A good kit is maguires quick clay.;)

Forget the clay bar, I think the mop with the 3M that did the most!

 

I remember very clearly seeing yours at JAE last year, simply amazing how good the finish was.

 

Ahh Thanks pete.....it takes alot of time to get that finish!

 

Started to clean mine as well today,absolutely covered as its been sat on the docks in Japan...

Back to it in the morning;)

 

What do you guys recommend for getting grime and fine scratches off the bodywork?

 

 

A good refinisher and alot of time...or tcut and a good wax :D

Very nice finish mate!

Could you tell me what this 3m is and what do you need/how do you mop your car?

I have been looking at getting this done to mine,to remove all the fine swirl marks, but detailers seem to charge alot to do the whole car! do you need an orbital buffer or can it be done by hand?
