Welcome

who was it that said that the std traction control was shite??

Erm, just about everyone who has owned one :D

Picture this: You're about to do a right turn onto a main road, there's a sufficient gap available so you move into the lane but apply about 1% too much right peddle. Que Toyota traction control which completely kills the power (it's almost like stalling), meanwhile, you're half way across the lane, but have a HGV bearing down on you from the lane you've entered... Now you'll be shitting bricks, the car will do almost nothing and the HGV isn't slowing down....

Its after moments like that you learn to turn the TC off right after starting the car (I know I did for years until I simply removed the whole TC ECU :D )

Oh, and if you have to reply on Traction control to control a stock turbo'd car you need some driver training (or buy a 4WD computer controlled car :p )
