Daston
yeah I have done this in the past what nuts are sticking? the ones from the cat to exhaust or the ones joining the manifold? I found soaking them in WD40 over night helped
Homer
WD40 will help, but ideally you really need to get some heat on it. I honestly find it better to take mine to the local kwik fit and hand over £15 for them to do the job for you... they haveall the ramps, long reach spanners and torches to hand. Daston
dont need it on the ramps for an NA all the nuts are accesable from the top (apart from the very bottom 2 but then thats just a jack jobbie) If it is the middle 4 bolts that are tight you can always undo the manifold and take the lot out however it is a PITA to get it back in again
miko_supra
well! eventually got the cat out yesterday after many hours. edend up getting a blow torch on the nuts, and getting them red hot. came off a treat then! had to take them off from underneath the car aswell with about 2 feet of extension from the socket. so pleased, as the cat was making a horrible noise and now it sounds as good as new with a decent replacement.
