He can't seem to decide if it's Silver or Gunmetal, Auto or Manual.

Emailed the chap to clarify auto/manual and it's manual 6 speed. It's in the country already (was expecting him to say it needs to be shipped from some strange far off land)

He's only just registered on fleabay... but car looks far too good for the price it's up for, that's not even a starting bid.

What scams are making the rounds at the moment?

I have no idea if this is a scam or not, but quite a few of the "bargin" motors on ebay are there just to collect peoples email addresses. If he replied though then maybe he is for real.

Strange one this as there is a land line number which I can't be bothered ringing. The advert is all over the place with no consistency and it's too cheap.

Oh and if it's a 96 how come it's pre-facelift?

Yeah - I wouldn't trust this guy anyway. Just had a reply from asking for some interior pics (I wanted to see how far he'd lead me on) and he can't get any as he's "out of the country right now" ;)

I have had luck in the past from ebay, you just have to be as careful as you would be buying from a random stranger, checking everything with a fine toothed comb etc.
