can you imagine the carnage if that thing was to be let loose on our sorry excuse for a rail system?? :eek:

Wow!! I bet that thing goes like a......................erm'....train!!:D

Not sure if I'd like to go that fast on one though. When things go wrong, they will go very wrong indeed..!!

I saw a programme about an idea for a vacuum tube at the bottom of the Atlantic as well, magnetic train inside, with the vacuum could effectively reach several thousand mph!!!! London-New York in an hour and a half!!! I could get a job in NY and commute! :D
