markjodrell
I have tried to upload some photos but they are too big 760kb , to upload due to a max size set by the forum, is there a way of reducing the size or will I need to take some more on a lower resolution ?? Thorin
Download something like Irfanview and shrink your photo's to no bigger than 800 pixels wide should suffice.
Guru
Try the PowerTools resizer for minimal effort http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe
R3DG3CKO ROB
or alternatively just upload them to something like photobox or flickr and then you can store loads of pics and post them via links?
Kranz
Or open them in paint (every PC has it in the Accessories folder!!) and go to Image, then Stretch/Skew, then in Horizontal and Vertical boxes fill in whatever % of the original size you want (say 50%). Save as a new name, then check in windows explorer how big they are (right click and select properties).
