Fifty
Stupid question Im sure just fitted Nur S so thats a twin feed to backbox - to decat I assume I can just fit pipes to replace cats (or one of them anyway) but is there a "rest of the exhaust" replacement for the stock twin pipe set up. Nur spec R is a single pipe? so what can I get? Rich
Homer
I'm not sure if there is a replacement for that "Mid cat-back" section, to be honest it would probably be cheaper to get one made up if you want to ditch the stock silencers. A staight pipe would be b**dy loud though if you have a double decat, even the NUR-R has an extra silencer there.
Fifty
I see Homer thx - actually there is a Guy at APMotors Plymouth who does make up pipes and he is really good Ive watched him work so if I do it maybe thats what Ill do. The S is nice but not loud. Rich
Chris and Alana
I have a Nur Spec R with a first decat and it sounds stunning but some of the neighbours dont appriciate it as much and yes the Nur Spec R does have a smaller silencer near where it joins the second cat, I would imagine if you just got straight through pipes made for your back box it would be loud as fook because mine is pretty loud as it is. The S is nice but not loud. Rich I'll warn you though, those mid silencers remove a heck of a lot of the sound and vibration! I wouldn't be surprised if its louder than a Nur-R with a straight pipe in their place. The pipe shouldn't cost too much (£60-80 or so?), so you could always get a straight though silencer spliced in if its too loud... Forgot to add - those silencers are VERY restrictive, so be prepared for better spool and power once they're gone
