View Full Version : cat problems, distressed in devon
hi everyone, i have an L reg n/a supra, i saw a de-cat pipe on ebay for a turbo version, i emailed the seller and he says it will fit. i had a look at my cat and it has two pipes going in to it and looked totally different from the cat by pass he has listed, i then emailed the seller to say this and he replyed saying i have two cats!!! is this true? i know this is a boaring thread to write by i need help, cheers all
Both the NA and the TT have two cats, but the decats pipes are different. A TT decat pipe will NOT fit an NA.
The second cat (and decat pipe) is the same on the NA and TT, but the first cat -closest to manifold (and again decat pipe) is different.

Thank you, just need one more to give me one of the same answers as you two

Welcome to the club
Here is a pic of the first and second cat from a TT (US spec which is slightly different to the J-spec). The small front cat conects to the turbo manifold assembly, the longer second cat is located underneath the front seat area of the car.

As said already, the second (longer) cat pipe is the same fit on the NA and TT.
