had my supra n/a auto for about 2 weeks now, looking into some basic power mod's before i put a nitrous kit on it its completly standard engine wise. heard that removing the cats and a cat back exhaust filter and plugs will bump it up a bit any other recomendations? and power gains from the mods i've listed?

Don't change the airfilter, keep the stock one (This subject has been covered a few times before)..

It is hard to put an exact figure on the power increase (10bhp+ guess)...

The NA is different beast to tune up. One of the big changes is the tubular exhaust manifold, however make sure you get one that fits a RHD car.

I'll agree with that, I've got HKS Hiper, full de-cat and HKS filter, and it's about stock BHP, 220, given that it's 200K kms old now.

If you're looking for 250, you'll be needing a port & polish, plus the improved exhaust manifold, and possibly investing in some new even higher cams. That's big money and time for an unguaranteed +30BHP.

this is off topic but how does anyone know how the mivec ftos performance compare to the n/a are they quicker? and whats the offical 0-60 time for the n/a

Manual is around 6.5, auto is low 7's, 0-100 in 16/17 secs, depends which fto but the GPX (quickest one) has similar performance, I would think though that the extra torque the supra has should see a few car lengths ahead but this wouldnt be apparent after 100.

bit a difference between auto and manual then probably get under 7 with the manu and o/d on changing gear manually what you think? just curoius cause my last car was a eg civic vti and i did a recorded 7.22 in that supra obivouly quicker after about 25-30mph

you need to take both the cats out 1st one is the most restrictve ,get a good exhaust ,get an apexi induction kit but sheild it and put a cold feed pipe on ,plugs wont do squat for power ,nitrous is good for the moment but your engine needs to be in good condition and at 50-60 quid for a refill its not cheep.

anyway if you want to look at my setup you know where i am :D

If there are enough people wanting one (need minimum of 3 orders). I'll do another production run of the NA exhaust manifold. These are full stainless steel and should give a power increase of around 8-12hp. The manifold replaces the stock cast manifold and first cat. It makes the exhaust note sound a lot 'racier'

From the looks of it, that encompasses the first cat, and therefore the 2nd cat pipe joins staight onto it.

Correct it replaces the stock cast manifold parts AND the first cat.

Tell me how much, I have shiny pipe wood.

£305 delivered.

It is also specifically designed to fit a RHD Supra and includes bosses to fit the stock OEM oxygen sensors.
