A Black Volvo 850 T5S 5 Speed manual with a RICA ECU pushing 320bhp at the fly. Front wheel drive with lots of torque steer and wheel spinning of the wheels.

Poorly Supe is in my garage, waiting to be fixed.

Pah, one of those couldn't catch me on the Tadcaster to Boston Spa road.
Mind you, I slowed right down when he put his blue lights on.

Not a bad car at all. I wouldn't mind one myself. Is it the estate version?

For mucho laughs you should wear a dayglo jacket while driving. :D

Someone followed me back from Norwich to London a couple of weeks ago doing that very thing... but in a white one... why would anyone do this to me!? he wasn't a copper?! strange people..

I don't know why they do it but, damn, it works so well. I've often spotted a dayglo jacket being worn in a car and, before even realising it, I've slowed down.

Then I've thought to myself, "why would a copper be driving a rusty Allegro?"

The yellow jackets aren't worn when in unmarked cars.... as it gives the game away!! Better to look for the white shirt, black tie, 2 rear view mirrors, grille strobes and extra aerials on the roof.

Its the saloon version, the boot is enormous compared to the Supe!! Mind you any boot is bigger than the Supe's!!

Exactly what I look for too :) Always checking out the cars condition too - if it's not clean and/or relatively new (last 3 years ish) then it probably isn't the plod.

What sort of price did you get it for and would you say that the price was typical?

If I can get a better paid job I'll get another Volvo for the daily drive.
