Hello to all Basingstoke home-owners!
Myself and my girlfriend need your help. We are looking to move to the Farnborough/Camberley/Aldershot/Basingstoke/Fleet area. (I know it's a big area.. but let me finish)
We've got the following criteria for the new house:
House (not flat/maisonette)
Off-road parking (driveway or similar) or possibly garage. (or potential to add parking - be it building a garage, converting front garden to off-road etc.
2 bedrooms
Garden of some sort.
Max price of £195k.
We've been searching and viewing properties in Camberley/Farnborough/Aldershot, but they either seem to be in a sh*te area or have no off-road parking potential AT ALL.
So, for all those Basingstoke peeps, what area's should we try to avoid to live in - bearing in mind I want to have a Supra (and hence don't want it trashed by yobs) and not have to worry about security etc of the house.
So far, I know to avoid POPLEY and Oakridge, but where else? I personally think Chineham looks ok (used to drive up the A33 to work before finding a better route through Hook) but want your comments and suggestions.
