let me start by saying hello.

i've just joined and am feeling my way around.may i say,i joined for life.this site is brilliant and i don't care if i have to pay £500 road tax.i ain't quitting.

anyway. already i need help.

wanna get some face lift headlights,my car is the 199 silver and i can't decide on what colour to have the inside. was thinking of colour codeingor shinny silver is pretty much what they are now.then i saw a lush db9 on an old top gear.same colour as mine,it had blacked backing to its headies with chrome rings.

i hate choices!! what d'ya reckon? anyone got any pictures that might sway it?

cheers gripper.

There are lots more knowledgeable people on here than me, but I think you will find that the original facelift lights have a dark back to them with chrome rings (and are £400 ish) and the UK lights have a silver back to them and are £250 ish.

The facelift have plastic front and the UK glass, the UK is slightly more bulbous as well whereas the facelift follow the contours of the bonnet better.

I would have preferred the facelift when I got mine recently, but being tight, thought that I could spend the £150 difference on more Supe stuff.

Welcome to the Club….
