AMG
Just a quick question, is the facelift dash the same colour as the none vvti years? On a pic of a panel i am after, the facelift seems a lighter grey, could be my eyes though

Nic
does anyone know the colour (paint code) for the lighter facelift dash. There won't be a paint code as such, you'd need to match it with against paint swatches.
baldy
ive just finished painting my dash(facelift) done a few mods so had to paint it but wanted the standared look. nearest i could find was toyota code uca93 this is a toyota trim code, its basecoat metalic/pearl the original slight texture feel can be achieved but dropping the air pressure and drop coating the clear on doing this i got a very close match to stock
Supe
Is there anywhere I can see this colour, just done a search on google but nothing there. Also, once you have painted it, what do you apply as the final coat (going to be using aerosols), I was thinking lacquer, but will this not give glossy finish and not a matt/stock look like finish. Really looking to get this done in the next couple of weeks, just want to make sure I have everything right before I start.
baldy
i used water base colour high solid laquer with matting agent added to get the stock look i workin a body shop so have the proper stuff to hand as for seeing the colour go to a motor factors that sell paint they should have colour chips available for you to look at just take the paint code ill go take a pic of my dash in a bit but that wont really help
