jack cottam
I am told a squeeky tailgate is caused by the rubbers on the tailgate and hatch perishing - what's the best thing to do? I have tried WD40 and this stops the squeek for a while but it comes back. Can I buy replacement rubbers or is there a fix?
Ric
yes replacement rubbers are a few quid from toyota, try a search for part numbers
John B
I have just replaced these a few weeks ago so here are the part numbers. Cushion Door : T67293-14051 £3.00 EACH Stopper, Back Door : T67281-14050 £7:10 EACH Suggestion is that you spary plenty of WD40 or better still Plus gas onto the screws as they tend to get very rusty I had a hell of a job getting them undone especially the ones in the drainage gully in the body shell as you can't get a good purchase on them with a screwdriver. Have fun

They have loctite on the threads, it's heat you need not WD40.
