Hi ppl
I bought a Walbro fuel pump from some1 on this site and when i was searching how to fit it i noticed there are two types GSS341 and a GSS342

i have a funny feeling i have the wrong one...

i have a jap tt and the fuel pump i have is the GSS341..

when i got the pump, it came all in the cage..
so my qst is... will it fit, is there a power dif between the two types...thanks for your help..ooo and i assume i can get to the pump under the rear seats??

The pump is under the spare wheel in the boot, remove 8 bolts and you will see the access cover.

Do a quick search and you will find the answers to the other questions.

Yeah you have the wrong pump for a jspec there mate

I believe the Jspec is GS342 not 1000% sure though.

i did di a quick search and some ppl were saying it was the 341 and some the 342..

even though i have the pump in a cage when i bought it...will it still fit?? or do i have to get a 342 :search:

You can bodge it to fit but I wouldn't.

well the pump came with the cage with the pump fixed in it already...so was going to do a simple swap as long as the pipes are the same on my cage..just worried if one is more stronger then the other....

They are the same pump just with the bottom piece rotated 180 degrees differently between them.
