Getrag
Took advantage of my day off today and went along to a good exhaust place I use. The rear of my exhaust has never really had enough support. It was held on by 2 hooks with 2 round exhaust rubbers. Every couple of months these rubbers would start to stretch with the weight and I'd hear it start to knock against the body work. A real pain in the ass as its a tight fit in there with no ramp. Anyway, they took off the stuff that was there and replaced it with a nice big sturdy plate with 2 of the big square block rubbers suspending the end of the exhuast, all nicely tucked away behind the bumper. Drive home and no more knocking, job done and another one off the list.
Tom
It's nice when the 'little' things are taken care of after so long isn't it?, what else have you got planned?
Getrag
Well I recently got the coilovers all changed, that was a biggie, no more knocking. The next phase would, ideally, be to get rid of the old tired jspec brakes for UK or just uprated. I think you should always upgrade from your weakest area and that certainly is.
