my drivers side windows stopped working. starting behaving a bit weird a while ago (not working, then when i turned off and on the ignition it would work again), but now its packed up completely.

not that great with electrics, so where should i start?

Mine dis to, both of them. Check the fuses under the drivers footwell, Check the wires in the rubber gromits in the doors. and lastly which was my problem, check the relay hasnt burnt out. Took me 2 weeks to find this out. Bloody embarassing when you have to open your doors, and get out of your car to pay on the seven bridge...

is there a fuse/relay for each window? or just 1 for both?

1 for both, because when mine packed in both my windows failes. I actually thought it was the motor

my problems probably different then as its just the 1 window. ill get the door card off at the weekens and see if anythings fallen off.

More than likely the cable has just snapped, I fixed mine recently. :)

Yep, mine went a few days ago, I'll be replacing the winder mech and regulator this weekend.
