vvti starter motor j- spec supra?

anyone know if the vvti starter motor is the same as the non vvti tt unit. the starter on my vvti aristo is giving up but i have access to a j-spec supra starter.any ideas?

Yup, I used my non-vvti one on my vvti engine without any probs..
