Thats the Question!

Does the uk TT6 Have a 155mph speed limiter?

Intresting it was 168 on the speedo:eyebrows:

Of course this was done on a private runway!!:search:

once at that speed it limited the revs!

felt a bit jerky, Not the beef type though!!:hide:

Anyway HOW do i remove this?

thanks for any advice..:)

The speed cut is about accurate (if the correct circumference rear tyres are fitted) because the gearbox sensor knows the exact revolutions that = 155mph

The speedo isn't accurate because it isnt  They aren't accurate on many cars.

i've hit 178mph gps speed, on a runway of course - no really on a runway which i happen to live by :D God knows what my speedo was reading, probably off the dial - and that stops at 200mph

Fingers crossed I'll find out the max speed on my next venture down the runway in april :D

on the UK's you only need to remove the trac fuse to have an unrestricted speed limit (or restricted through power and not through electronics that is).

But removing the trac fuse also removes the traction control abviously... if you want traction control then fit a de-limiter as suggested above.

Also does something to the automatic 'box gearchanges which could be detrimental to its lifespan.
