Amp fitting, blue remote wire workaround?

Ok basically fitting an amp but I dont have access to the factory sat nav/stereo system so cant connect the blue remote wire to this, is there anywhere else I could connect the wire to to turn the amp on?

Would fusing it and connecting it to the battery with a switch do the trick?

Or connect it up a switched live from somewhere else...

that way to comes on with the ignition, less worrying than a switch directly on the battery.

oh anyone got any ideas what amp fuse I should use?
